Grant Training
Having trouble securing grants? This 4-part series is jam-packed with advice and instruction on how to write successful grant applications. Together we will focus on how to develop clear, concise explanations for why a funder should invest in your organization, including: what your program/project will do, how you will do it, why you need to do it now, what it will cost, and how you will demonstrate value to the funder for their investment.
The training will also cover persuasive and inclusive writing techniques, using storytelling effectively, and how to tailor proposals to funders’ requirements and priorities. Bring your questions for a Q&A session at the end.
Join Steven Watts and Monica Johnson on four Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (EST), August 14, 21, 28 and September 4, 2024. Can’t join live? If you are registered, the recording will be sent to you afterward.
This training is aligned with the Grant Professional Certification Institutes’ competencies required for Grant Professional certification.
