Monica Johnson

Grant Associate

Monica Johnson (she/her) is located in Kamloops, British Columbia, which is situated upon the traditional lands of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc, the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc people.

Monica brings a wide variety of skills from her 31-year career including 13 years with the BC Ministry of Education, 7 years as an Executive Director of a non-profit, and 11 years as a consultant working on a range of projects with non-profits—including a lot of grant writing!

Monica enjoys collaborative working relationships with clients. For her, grant writing helps to shape and refine programs, better enabling clients to secure funding and achieve meaningful, impactful results.

Monica is a member of the Grant Professionals Association, and is also certified as an ESL teacher, an Adult Educator, and a Facilitator. She is an avid reader and is grateful for the internet to help find answers to her never-ending questions!
